Brand Birthday: Year 1 Review

The first year of being formed for Crossbar Sport Ltd and we’re going to look at what we aimed for, what happened, what’s happening next.

What we aimed for!

The aim for the year for Crossbar Sport was to get operating, start providing for the public particularly in the local area at the time (Wolverhampton).

Our initial aims weren’t met as the direction of the business changed over the course of the year.

What happened?

A lot of effort went into the first few months to try and get things moving. This included contacting high profile companies to partner with, enquire of unused land to host the events for the company and setting systems up in place on our first website.

Clothing suppliers were founded to create some products in this time but it was all a part of a learning curve.

We were on target and achieved some good progress on this front for the first few months, until an emergency health incident halted any progress made.

A Few months of being in and out of hospital stalled progress and the plans needed to alter too. Determined to go down the same route from the progress made in 2023. In February 2024 the slow move back to working on the business reignited but with a big bump in the road occurring yet again.

This time a bit of research into trademarking the business brought the business to a stop. With uncertainty on the protection of the company and potential issues, it was decided that the original vision for the company required changes.

The website was no longer fit for purpose and a complete new business plan needed to be founded.

Towards the end of the first year a new website was built with new products and developments moving towards the next stage.

What next?

With out giving too much away of what’s being planned for the future, Crossbar sport having originally intended to be a sports events company is now focussing on being a Sportswear brand.

The company aims to bring a unique style to the clothing whilst trying to progressively improve the quality of everything the company does.

This next years main aim is to make progress in terms of getting the brand out there, getting the public wearing the brand and most importantly improving and listening to what people need.
